Closing-wire fraud usually looks like a normal email from the title company, the agent, or the lender, with a PDF of “updated” instructions. The address is one letter off. The account is not ours.
- Call (305) 442-8305 and confirm the bank name, routing number, and account number before you send funds.
- Use the phone number on this website or on the commitment you already received. Do not use a number that arrived only in the wire email.
- If instructions change, stop. Call the office. A real change is confirmed by a person you can reach at that number.
- Do not send a wire from a phone link in an email or text.
If you think you sent funds to the wrong account, call your bank and ask for a recall immediately, then call us.
